Pangasius exports to the UK market increased by 15.6% by middle of February

As of the first half of February 2021, the total value of Vietnam pangasius exports to the UK market reached 3.89 million USD, up by 15.6% over the same period in 2020. It is forecasted that in the next months pangasius exports to this market will continue to have positive doubledigit growths compared to the same period last year.

In 2020, pangasius exports to the UK market had the most positive growth in total Vietnamese pangasius exports to markets.
The structure of pangasius exports to the UK is also very diverse. Notably, the export value of processed pangasius products reached over 18 million USD, up by nearly 9.5 mes compared to 2019. The export of frozen pangasius products (except HS code 0304) also increased by 56,7% over the previous year. The exports of group of frozen pangasius products (HS code 0304) to the UK decreased slightly by 3.3%. In 2020, Vietnam exported the following pangasius products to the UK market: Deep fried breaded pangasius, deep-fried breaded pangasius fillets, frozen deep-fried breaded potato cut pangasius fillets, frozen whole pangasius H&G, frozen pangasius steak, frozen pangasius slices, frozen pangasius fillets, frozen pangasius stomach.
